Lula & Sadie's is the latest culinary conception of Executive Chef Harry S. Monds, who has been on the Durham, N.C. restaurant scene since 1991.  Chef Monds is self-taught and has showcased his outstanding culinary talents in several of his own restaurants, beginning with his first,     The Thyme Table, a former downtown Durham favorite and The Blue Sage.

His team also operates Bull City Street Food, an innovative food truck that has garnered rave reviews for its imaginative themed menus that showcase delicious dishes from around the world. 

Chef Monds' newest project, Lula & Sadie's, A Fine Southern Eatery, is family operated which offers a modern, seasonal take on dishes representing the various regions across the Southern U.S.  Our food is cooked fresh, to order, and it is our intention to use sustainably raised and grown ingredients from regional farms and purveyors.
